BIG, BIGGER and the BIGGEST EDF
Hello Guys, something different, I just finished building my largest foamy EDF model as an experiment. IT is fitted with "127mm RAMTEC/Scorpion 7.5Kwatt " power unit running on 12S with "CC160" ESC. It cost me under $150 in materials to build inc. made up alum. fixed landing gear. I got fed up waiting last 12 month for 72inch MIG15 which apparently just arrived this week but as far as I'm concerned now they can shove it! AUW is only around 7kg subj. to batteries at 145x255cm air frame size. Wing loading works out around 50grams per dm2 so it should be an easy trainer to fly unless I fit in 16Ah packs which may loaded up a little, back soon, Joe.
