Default EJF A-10 wemotec 480 EDF prop

I have an EJF A-10 laser cut kit with 2 wemotec mini fan 480's
the plane is to darn heavy to lift off.... 4lbs
I would have to spend a fortune on a brushless setup X 2...
So my idea is to make the mini fans pusher fans from the back but that seems to hard
But adding a prop in front of the nassales would be a whole lot easer.
I would need some kind of motor prop extender.

Any suggestions?????

The mega 16/15/2 or 16/15/3 is a good, inexpensive brushless setup that can be used in the minfan. Typically about 8 cells for the /2 and 11-12 cells for the/3. Either will get you about 300-400 watts or so for a total of 600-800 watts. That should fly your A-10 pretty well.

Thanks

I have heard that you need 2 brushless ESC to run 2 motors or can it be done with one?

i started a thread months ago regarding 2 brushless motors with one esc and the only company that has a system that is moderatly reliable is kontronic.i saw an ad from galaxy models in europe using this set up but it is a small fortune. the cheapest way may be cobalt and retain edf or some 6x4 props direct drive externally with some home brew enginering.

This is what I came up with. It works and better yet it flew.
I had a problem with the aileron wires effecting the elevator during flight that I had to land sooner than I wanted to.
I also lost the gear again but the pics are after I fixed them.
