If you want to go Nimh, use the KAN 1050, 8~10 cells. If you want to go lipo, the Etec 3s2p 2400 weighs less than the 8 cell pack with the power of a 10 cell. Running the motor full throttle all the time on a 10 cell or 3s lipo will most likely reduce motor life. Watch the wings so they don't fold.
