One of the retired members who flies at one of my clubs has a forward swept wing .40 size plane. Flies nice, he had me trim it out for him once last year. Don't know what kit, but I'll ask when I see him.

The club's oldest member says that plane is almost impossible to stall, due to that wing configuration. It is a stable flyer, and slows down nice.

Good luck,
Dave Olson

Thanks alot. I am very intresseted in the desighn because it is so diffrent yet efficient. If you have seen the X-29 it was also a kanard. I think the reson the desighn didnt ever take off is because it is unusual. I am starting to do research and draw up some rough sketches of a RC airplane. Pusher foamie.

Hi,

The russian Sukhoi SU-47 Berkut has forward swept wings. A friend of mine has built one with a .53 methanol engine. I have never seen it in the air, but it is an eye catching plane.
Here is a link to plans for a depron, electric version of the plane: http://www.parkjets.com/su-47.html

X-bow by foamfly might fit the bill for you it a speed 400 pusher could be modified for EDF

I have some other Ideas that might tweak your fancy.

Not jets, but EdgeRC sells something they call the Bird Of Prey, and the Mini Bird Of Prey (MiniBOB) here: http://www.edgerc.com/

A friend has one of the MiniBOB's and it looks really cool in the air.
