117 stealth.
I am building a 117 stealth and just wondered if anyone else has tried and succeeded. I have gotten most of the foam patterns cut and fitted, will post pics tomorrow. power is gws 350c with a 8/6 prop. 3s1p lipo, just like the 3d foamies. I like cheap cause I tend to get lots of pieces when the plane meets the ground at high speed. using v-tail mixing and ailerons.

RE: 117 stealth.
I made one a few years back and it is still getting some air time. I made mine with an airfoil and kept the outlines fairly scale. The speed range is 10 - 45 mph and can be flown indoors too. AUW was 10 oz with a J-250 dd and 2 cell 850. It now has a CD motor with 3 cells, weights 8 oz, pure vertical and is insanely fast! EPP and depron construction.

RE: 117 stealth.
sorry i havnt got back sooner, been on the road. nice planes. getting my 3rd t-38 finished then getting baclk to my 117. got most of it cut , and kinda got side-tracked... ^ .
going to change motor plans depends on the weight. humm brushless, i think.
