Default EDF Mig-21

Would like to post a question to all you jet junkies. If you had a chance to buy a full composite Mig-21,fiberglass fuse, fiberglass wings with internal structures already installed, fiberglass full flying stabs using a 90mm fan with retracts and has all panel lines, rivets, bumps and bulges and generally scale to the max and say the plane was about as arf as you could get, made in the US and the price is right. Would you buy it? Working on such a plane now as we speak. Making plugs for this plane so wonder what kind of interest this awesome plane generate.

Dude, you need to show and tell. Show us some pictures and tell us the "right price". The Mig 21 is a great subject and quite rare in the model world. I want to know a few other details like wing loading, weight range and availability. I have only seen one built as a slimer DF and it was one squirrely devil with a roll rate that would cream Vodka. So, go ahead, make me a Customer!

One thing you need to consider is that a lot of people will say "build it and I'll buy it" but when it comes to putting money where their mouth is, most of those people will not follow through.

I'm not saying the guys in the above responses would do that - but it's a fact that I and a few others I know have run into. Just keep this in mind when offering kits that you are making yourself.

I think it is smart to do a demographic study. You get the level of interest established and you can make plans the size that the interest generates. Show us your progress!
Oh, It is also a custom to yell "fore" before you swing, not after, skyhawknut.
