Its a great looking model and you sell some great products but $129 seems rather high. Hobby Lobby sells a larger balsa version for $79. Is there a reason for the higher price.

Ugly costs less.

TCMACK, thanks for the kind words. and seriously each company has it's own cost structures based on many things so it's difficult to answer that when it's a different model to compare against.

the babycat comes from a premier jet designer (BVM). Based on my experience with Hobby Lobby products, you probably get twice the model from BVM. It might even get me back into EDFs.

Without comparing the 2 models, $129 just seems high for a foam kit. I saw this kit at SEFF in the Hobby Lobby booth and curious to see what their price will be. Comparing it to a similar foam kit there is the UltraFly SU-27, Hawk, and F-16 which are pushers but still very well built kits. They sell for $59-$79. That's the price I'm expecting to see the Lynx from Hobby Lobby.

Walt, I'm 99.9% sure BVM doesn't build this kit or have any affiliation with it.

Its a great flying and looking model but to me its only worth $80.

The picture above is the same kit that EJF is selling now. Hobby Lobby just added their Firebird fan to it.

Point taken. I split out all the optional brushless items so the airframe with stock pusher prop starts at $79.99 the people that went with the earlier price get the EDF unit, Brushless motor and Brushless controller included.

And the free shipping discount code is still good the rest of this week.

IMO the $129 price is not high considering that the fan, motor and speed control are included. Sans the "goodies" to make it go the price is right in line with other planes of this type.

Originally the motor and ESC were not included for the $129 according to the description. Now that its included, the $129 price seems fair.

$79 is a great price and glad the guys at EJF made the change. I'll be buying one today or tomorrow. The new Himax 2415/4100 EDF combo for $60 is a great deal.
