Default 5" German EDF 19 lb. output

If some one is using this fan I would like to converse by E-mail. I feel it is too frail for every
day use.

It is the 120 and it seems like the housing is too light. You mount the motor by the front face only and then put the fan on with 4 set screws, one on a flat 3 on the shaft. The 3 on the shaft would burr it so it would be hard to get off.
I would like to put one in a 17 lb. scale airplane. It just seemed a little frail.
Would to talk to someone that has one.

It was the DS94, I thought the fan name was the diameter.

Check over at RCgroups. A number of people are flying that fan unit with great results. No problems at all. EDF are different from glow fan units in many respects.
