Default Installing Fan

Hi
Im new to the formum. I have a question for you experienced guys. So here goes. I bought a F15 foam EDF. Before I got to fly it the ESC burned up. I got this thing from toysonics. They agreed to send me new part which they did. They sent a motor mounted to the fan housing, a fan blade, and adapter, and a ESC. Now my question is how the heck do you get the adapter on the motor shaft. I guess its a press fit, but how do you supposed to press it on without ruining it. Help please.

Heat it with a torch.

Yes heat it with a torch but dont roast it. Get it up to a few hundred degree's so it will slide on nice and easy. Normally at this point I hook it up to the ESC and spin it just to watch to make sure the shaft is centered.
Good luck
