Default JePe Pyranha

I have been researching the JePe Pyranha over the last few months, and am looking at buying one, but still have a few questions, if someone has been there.

Has anyone seen the difference between the Schubeler DS 30 fan with the Lehner 15-30-11 motor on 4s 2800-3700 lipo's, vs the WeMoTec 480 with the Mega 16-20-2 on 4s? will they run on 5s without burning out the motor, and will it fit in the model?

Anyone want to sell a good condition Pyranha?

Shawn

you can go to www.ductedfans.com to view an output chart displaying the thrust/amps/volt ect... it's a comparison chart.
good luck finding a Pyranha if you haven't already.

Be very careful of certain sellers who claim to have them and really don't.
Jepe.org is or should i say was the mfg. JP no longer produces these since his shop caught fire. Now he sells fly fly foamies... big bummer.

I flew my pyranha just today in nice 80degree sun! fresh thunder power v2 packs give me 150mph. range.

oh yeah... 4s 3300 is what I'm running.
You could possibly sssqqquueeezzee in 5s.
you'd have to visit the motor websites to view their stats on running 5s.

mini fan, balanced from Jepe with the mega 16/20/2
Castle Creations 60amp.
Keep your wiring to a minimum and consolidate. helps keep weight down.
Keep your ducting clean, no dents or wrinkles in your tunnel.

I do have a Schuebeler DS 30 new in box ready to put in my pyranha. I should get another solid pound of thrust.
