Default E-Flite BAe Hawk Powerplant?

What is the optimum fan, motor, ESC, and lipo setup for the E-Flite BAe Hawk, I've been looking at the Delta V fan that says I believe 2.2lbs thrust on a 4s lipo with the BL15 BL motor, would this be a good setup or should I use the HET fan or something different with the 2w motor, I really want a DF jet that will take off from short grass and have plenty of vertical performance, any suggestions?

Hi Rob.
Are you old enuf to remember those crazy helicopter guys who used to fly at night downtown Brocton??? Getting back to Hawk....the Delta EDF supplied with kit is most adequate...and made just for this model. I think another mfgr make would be too much of a hassle to install properly!!
Keeping weight down is always a good thing, and one way is to leave undercarriage off entirely. That means U have to hand launch or use a Bungee hi-start,
The belly is riddled with LARGE cheater holes....so landing on grass or dirrt will probably ruin the fan if motor is running at touchdown. They say it lands nose high...& maybe thats a good thing!!!
Its a most beautiful product...so go for it I;d say.
