A 101" EDF unit is kind of large! Do you mean a 4 in class EDF
In that case the the Stumax SM110-52 EDF unit is one of the best. In particular it is very quit while producing a lot of thrust.
You can read all about it on the [link=http://www.stumaxaircraft.com/pages/SM110.htm?t=739147]STUMAX web site[/link].

Thanks Red B. for the reply,
After doing some remodeling, my mind was locked on standard units of measurement.
I should of used metrics for the fan diameter (101mm). But, I see you're astute and figured I
was talking about a 4 inch fan unit. I actually emailed Stu last year about his fan and got some
good information on his system. I am going to purchase his unit very soon for my larger
12-17 lbs aircraft. His 110 fan is a "Top of the Line" type unit and is a bit more than what
I wanted the 101mm fan unit for. I want a 101mm fan for a 5-7lbs inexpensive jet. I've seen
HobbyKings 101mm" fan and I have the EasyTigerModels 101mm fan. These fan units are super
inexpensive and will probably not last long with my type flying. I was just wondering if there where
any good 101mm fan unit that perform well and are made fairly well, but not in the $300-$700
price range as is all the good 110-120mm fans.
Once again I appreciate your response.
Rgrds,
Keith
