Stumax SM110-52 edf claims a turbine sound?
I came across a video of a Stumax SM110-52 edf powered jet and the sound was more of a turbine on low power than the sound of a screeching EDF. Has anybody flown the Stumax SM110-52? What is the consensus on the turbine like sound? Is it worth the big bucks that Stumax wants for that sound? On the Stumax website, the edf is a 12 blade fan and Stumax claims this is what gives a low powered turbine swoosh sound. Any Stumax fliers want to add any input?
Thanks
