hi guys
as those whome has read my previous threads will know,
i have a dream about building a jet plane.
i have, from economical reasons concluded that it shall be build from foam.
if i would want to build a F-15 or F-16 in foam with a span of ca 80 - 120 centimeters (i'm danish so i don't work in inches ),
what kind of EDF would you guys then choose?

<span style="font-size: larger;"><span style="font-family: Comic Sans MS;">KD ... 1200 mm plane for a F16 is not small, the plane always has short wings. Unless you have a particular set of plans to let you know the actual size and all up weight we cannot really say. You are definately in the 90mm or 120mm range. If its 90mm then we are talking 6S set up and if its the 120mm you want to go with 10S at the least.</span></span>

i'm not quite sure that we are talking about the same dimensions here...
i'm talking about the wingspand of the plane, the width of the plane.
as far as i can see from pictures of the fighters, they are always longer than they are wide,
so wouldnt a fx 120cm wide airplane be about 150-170 centimeters in length?

<span style="font-size: larger;"><span style="font-family: Comic Sans MS;">KD ... I know you mean wingspan ... that is why I say a 120 cm wing span F16 is not a small plane at all. Hence, you may be in the 90mm to 120mm EDF range. You may get away with 90mm because you want to use foam and it might be light enough.</span></span>
