Default LaStick Fuselage Question

I am building an LaStick from the attached plans. My question is on the fuselage, is the down thrust and right thrust required? I will be using this motor: http://innov8tivedesigns.com/cobra-c...-motor-kv-1960 with a 6 x 3 GWS prop and a 450 mAh 2s Lipo. That combination worked out in ecalc. Is that too much motor? Does anyone have another suggestion on the motor sizing? Any help would be appreciated!

I have no experience with this kit but I would build it as designed. Install it with shims so you can adjust it to suite your desired behavior.
