Hi yes i'm new to ELECTRICS,
I have a Mini Funtana with
Eflite brushless 400-4200Kv
11.1V 2100mAh 3-Cell Li-Po, 16GA
20-Amp Brushless ESC
Hitec HS-55 all around
5 Ch Micro 555 FM DC RX 72MHz:JR/AIRZ
With a JR 6102 to control everything
Stock Gearbox
Stock prop
Well my problem is that i have been charging the battery for a while with my GP polycharger(for Li-Po) and well this charger is supposed to ring when it done charging. Hasn't rang yet. Although i just a minute ago i was working on something and i touched the ESC and it was hot.
I have connected the battery to the ESC as the instructions say, black wire to black wire, Red wire to Red wire, I attached them together with alittle plastic thing in an electical kit that i have that you put both ends in and it has a peice of metal in the middle so know what it does, Then you crimp it so the wires don't go anywere, Is this a good idea???
Am i doing anything wrong???
Should i have a switch on this airplane of not???

If I understand all this right then you are not correct. The batteries need to be disconnected from the ESC to be charged in all the chargers I have seen.
A picture may help me understand what is going on.
