Default 3D profile too squirly...which intermediate plane?

I stepped into a hobby lobby judge 3d and have found the judge to be too squirly and, more frustrating, too fragile. A fairly light crash tore its fuselage in half just behind the wing. Any thoughts on an intermediate plane that can utilize the awesome AXI motor (2212/26) and 3 cell lipos? Thanks

What type of construction are you looking for? Balsa or foam? Mountain Models planes are fantastic. Go here http://www.mountainmodels.com./
