Default Don't know what to do or where to look!

I have a JR XP6102 xmtr with an R700 rcvr. I want to set up a kit hydrofoam flying boat. My motor is a 1000kv brushless. My ESC is 30A. My batt is 3 cell 11.1V LiPo. 3 mini-servos, 2 for elevons and 1 for the rudder. Is my following set up correct?
Motor plugs into ESC, battery plugs into ESC, ESC plugs into THROT on rcvr, rudder servo to rudder on rcvr, left servo to aileron on rcvr and right servo to elevator on rcvr and program the xmtr for Elevons? My radio set came with a 4.8V nicad air pack for the receiver, will the set-up be okay with the less bulky but more powerful 11.1V LiPo? This kit looks like fun but I am a glider guy and not familiar with electric set-ups! Any suggestions?

yes, that's right, but you won't need the NiCd, I'm assuming the ESC has a BEC............but everything else there is right

Thanks, I'm really new to this so I didn't want to burn it up! Yes the ESC has a BEC and I kind of figured I could do this but needed expert advice. THANK YOU!!!
