Looking for T-Hawk
#2
The web site for the T-Hawk's distributor at http://www.readytoflyfun.com seems to no longer be active.

My Feedback: (2)
T-hawk has never been available in stores, that I know of. It was only available on-line. I hope the loss of the web site is a temp thing. That company provides some really good planes and products. Let's hope the web site comes back.
On the chance that it does not, what was your interest in the T-hawk? Do you need parts?

I"m pretty sure they are out of business and the company sold off the remaining stock on Ebay it seems... I purchased a new t-hawk that way, but I think they are all gone.... Unfortunately I've had a problem with mine... A friend decided to help me hand launch it on its third flight and rather than gently letting it out of his hand, he threw it full speed like a football into the ground, like a moron! Anyway, now the elevator does not work, it seems the servo is busted i guess... a total bummer, the plane flew great before this, anyone know where to get spare parts, or if there is a way to fix this? thanks!

You should be able to find a servo of similar size to replace your damaged one.
The T-Bird is a wonderful flying airplane, and probably the best of the "stick and pod" designs that have commonly been available. It's a shame that readytoflyfun.com had to close up shop.

I started a forum message the other day on rcgroups about readytoflyfun.com wondering what was up with them, and this is copied from a reply earlier this morning off the site:
"Folks I received an email for Rom at Ready-to-fly and they are reorganizing. No explanation of what that means but it was clear they intend to return to the market soon. Be patient. They are great to work with and will be back. If I hear more I will let you know. Thanks to Bernard for letting me know about this thread."
Hopefully this is fully correct, and those orange (sometimes green) winged wonders will be available again!

I to am hoping they came back. I had bought a few of them and love them. I still have one and eniough parts to keep them in the air for a while. There is a few people out there that still need to learn the easy way with the T-Hawk. I have even bought one for a friend to learn on and he did and still has his. I also hope the best for them and hope they can pull it all together and come back just as good and strong. The t Hawk is a very good forgiveable trainer and lots of fun. I just could't say anything bad about them. I just wish they could have left there site up and told people what was happening. The Larry
