Default Will These Batteries Work??

New plane being ordered tonight ( http://www.bananahobby.com/1865.html )

and i have several of these lying around ( http://www.thesource.ca/estore/Produ...roduct=2300321 )

Will they work? if not, is it possible to use a lipo battery with the stock setup? any reccomendations are greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Read what the planes needs, an 8.4 volt 1000 mAh Ni-MH battery not 9.5v! if you try to use the 9.5v you will have to reduce the voltage.

The specs list an optional lipo battery 'to achieve better performance & longer flight time.'

A 2 cell lipo is only 7.4 volts which will mean lower performance, not 'better' so they must mean a 3 cell battery (11.1 volt).

Your battery should be fine at 9.5 volts. - John.
