Tank empty. I would add some ply to the nose and reinforce the joints inside with epoxy. Just don't go crazy with the epoxy. Keep the plane as light as possible.

Went flying Saturday late. Wind was blowing pretty good here. It flew great. Looked like it had unlimited vertical it was still going then I brought it back. I'm a little rusty at tuning engines. I messed with it a long time at the house before I went to the field. It died a couple times when I would throttle back. But overall glad I did the conversion. I will try and post a picture later.

Something told me not to go today. When I turned on the receiver switch it was acting weird but it did that last weekend also. I was in a hurry because I leave to go out of town tomorrow. Something turned my electronics off and I think it was that switch. The plane hit the ground pretty hard. Motor looks ok, rudder and elevator can be saved, I have another set of wings I just need a fuselage. Wondering if I should rebuild another one? I have most of the parts anyway. This sucks. I was having a good time flying it.

Sorry to hear that. These are good flying planes. I would get another.

Anyone have a fuselage they want to sell? Looks like everyone is out of stock until late march.

I just found one of these on the Tower "scratch and dent" with box damage. $100 shipped...

I have one of the old cast iron piston OS 35 FP's I'm going to use on it.

Should be a fun project...
