I am using 10-24 Stainless screws for a stand off mount and it breaks them routinely. I have this same set up on other engines with no problem of breakage.

Can any body tell me, if someone makes a coil bracket for a Poulan 42. I would like to use the mag ignition but cutting down the oil tank / coil tower / engine mount just doesnt seem to be getting me were I want to be.

Not that I know of... Everyone using the 32 to 42cc Poulans use electronic ignition. (Or Gas/Glow) The Poulan 46cc has coil mounts for a mag ignition.

How bout a pic of your setup, the engine normally are fairly smooth . I run a 60 and it is very smooth and the 42's and 46's aern't bad.

Check around at lawn mower shops, Most of the time them have piles of old chain saws and weed wackers you can get for around 5 Bucks

Making and mounting prop hubs is no big deal if you have a lath or do some looking around on the forums for links to people that make them.

Ken Lambert makes some parts

i got my hands on a 33cc poulan, see what you mean about having to do some trimming, will have to cut off the chain oil tank. does any one know by chance what the space is between the two prop hub mount holes on the Zenoah G38?
