Default weed eater conversion

hey i am new to the conversion and rc. but have been reading and doing a lot or searching and i think it is time to put use back in my 2 old weed whackers. i have weed eater GTI 15T i have no clue about it other than it looks like a ryobi witht the carb and exhaust in the back...i also have an Echo Gt-2000

my question is this
does anyone know anythin about the Gt 15t size what it is and can it be converted

and does anybody know anything about the Echo..i think it is a 22cc but i don't know where to find parts to convert it

so do i have an engine that is worth the trouble of converting to rc

any help is appreciated
thanks
ben

Default Weed eater Conversion parts

Ben,

I have converted a few of the echo 21cc trimmer engines they are not hard to convert but do require some trimming of the case. I machine all my own parts from 6061 aluminum and can supply you with a prop hub and a mount if you like. My mounts are $12.50 ( Complete with screws) and the prop Hub is $15.00.

As far as the GT15T I am not familiar with that model number, But if it is a Ryobi31 cc Engine it is easy to convert as there is no trimming on the case required. I have some Hubs and mounts here for that as well. The prop hub is also $15.00 But my mount for this one is $25.00 This mount is of the standoff type and I also include the needed carb spacer. If you are interested in any of my parts email me as I check my email more often.

Scott

Default weed eater conversion

Hi! Iam very new to this forum and have a GREAT deal to learn so please be patient with me. That being said- I also have a Weed Eater GTI 15T engine and would like to know the cc of it. This is a brand new engine that I thought was a 32cc type but have been told that it's less. Any help would be appreciated!

The echo is 21.2cc. I have a 21.2cc in a blower....bet its the same motor.

And the GTI is a "weedeater" brand which is made by poulan I think and it is a 22cc.

And the echo will be a much better engine I think.
