Default Ignition swith left on: damage ignition??

Hi guys,

I moved a few months ago, and in so doing, the ignition switch on my 50cc Extra apparently got bumped on and I didn't notice. Think it hurt my RCEXL ignition system to be on until the battery died??

Are ya around Bill?

Thanks,
AV8TOR

Mine seems to be fine. Running the battery through multiple cycles to check it right now.

Thanks for the answers.

Ken, I sent you an e-mail.

Hi Ken ,Seems like I do this all the time, must be senior moments.I use the RCEXL engine kill so this keeps from killing the battery. The engine kill does draw a tiny bit of battery.
Don't give up on meI will get the st parts sent some day.Have been fighting another Stayph infection for months,This getting old sucks.

Tell me about it, I just had another cutting . Replaced my implant , cdi and lead batterys don't seem to last for ever! I only spent a couple days in the hosp but it is going to bee 4-6 weeks befor I can get anything done ,I guess digging the old one out causes a LOT more pain than when they fist put it in. Hope all gets better for you.

I am on my 2nd implant also. It did not go too bad. Took a few weeks for the pain to go away. I found out several months later though, that when I was reaching up high trimming a few trees it really brought the pain back in the area of the device. So be careful. Yes this getting old sucks.............had another surgery & it took 10 weeks for the wound to quit seeping. I went to a wound clinic about 5 times & finally got seeping stopped. It never seems to end.............................

RE Seeping wounds - 3 courses of antibiotics over abut 8 weeks for a removed bad mole on my bicep and I was fed up. 3" cut. A few seconds with a sharp Stanley knife and that solved it within a couple of days. Something was in there and antibiotics were not going to get it out. The infection hurt much more than the self surgery or the initial removal.

Don't try this at home kids!
