Default Homelite compression

How much compresion should a 25cc weedie have? Used/ new? Thanks

The Homelite 25s that I have converted had a small hole just above the exhaust port. From what I understand, it is for exhaust gas recirculation, for emissions control. You can carefully tap the hole part way in and put a set screw in. This will raise the compression considerably.

A "good" 30cc Homie will run around 110-120 lbs. on a guage. When it drops down around the 90 lb. mark....time to work on it......
