In wait for fetherlite 22...

Good evening friends.
This past monday i bought fetherlite 22cc converted engine that was just cut out and prop adapter snaped on.I havent got it yet but guy said it will need to be trimemd prettier.
Anyways, tonite i went flying my spad and crashed the hell out of it
Of course nothing happened with alluminum L-channel fuse but the wing broke in two right in da center..I'll fix it easy ,,no problems,BUT i think it happened in a ways because my spad was a little underpowered.I took off and elevated about 50-75 yards and then stalled...nose went up ,sort like in those 'ucando'
and it stalled for a few moments
and then went down.If i had a little more "juice" in my little engine i believe i would of been able to pull it out of stall but heck,,around 11 lbs plane powered by .61 engine is a little underpowered...I think...
I am all excited 'bout engine coming in..Will inspect it and hopefully mount it on my spad..Then.... 'HOLD ON TO YOUR NUTS AND SCREWS!'
I was wondering if anyone here using such engine and what the engine mounts looks like..My fuse is a flat piece of wood with two l'channells attached so if any engine mounts that can be mounted on flat surface, please post some pics.
Thanks ahead...

Hey y'all. Me again...
I started converting an old weedeater 22cc that been laying in my garage without a sparkplug. It got a ton of dirt on it but it seems to have a good compression. When i took it apart i found that it would make a real easy conversion...I guess thats what you call a long shaft...The flywheel is sitting backwards-fins are on the block side of the flywheel. Then shaft going through the plastic covers of the weedeater and have a clutch on it.I was even thinking about new concept-leaving starter on it just to trim it around but then changed my mind.I know that picture is worth a thousand words .I'll post some maybe tommorow, when i will clean it up.
Good day everyone.
