Default Ryobi cylinder exchange

I have a Ryobi conversion that runs well but had many hours on it as a weedeater before I got it. NOrthern Hydraulics has the Ryobi for 49.95. I thought about buying it and using the cylinder and piston to "rebuild" my engine. Does anyone know if they are interchangeable. The new one has the 2 ring piston that's supposed to be better. Thanks

Eddie, I would replace the complete engine as there is wear on the main bearings and wrist pin also. You'll be glad you did. [8D]
