Well guys I just want to put my few cents worth on this subject.
I you would notice that most of the times that someone posts a tread that it has been already discussed you would've noticed that is mostly !QUOT!NEW MEMBERS' that has just found out about this fabulous page and they are eager to get their questions answered or further covered, at least I was that way when I first join this forum; Remember that GAS CONVERSION is a facet of our hobby that is steadily growing in big proportions; allot of exceptivecal R/Cers are now jumping on the wagon, so allot of our information and data has to be repeated over and over by most of you guys that have the knowledge and experience to do so. That's why I suggest that we keep our cool and lets help each other like we always know how to do it, remember it's our hobby interests that keeps us together

ORIGINAL: DougT

I think this shows the mentality of many Americans as a whole; they don't want to put much effort forth to get what they want immediately.

The first thing I do when going to a new site or finding info on a new aspect of this site is multiple searches. I usually have to spend at least an hour wading through threads but with a lot of reading many of my "dumb" questions are answered.

Call me bitter or whatever, but that's what I see.

Doug
I did a search for butthole and bada bing, all it came up with was DougT!

Doug, I've had issues with the search feature on this forum for a L O N G time. It rarely ever works.
I've emailed the owners and they replied that they are aware and that a future update should correct the problem.

Why don't you just ignore a post if you don't like it and let us use the forum?

Tom

Okay guys, let's tone it down a little, before w8ye pulls the plug on this one. Doug has a point. Unforturnately, this is a RCU-wide problem, not one specific to the Conversions forum.

Personally, I've typed more than 2300 posts so far, and I can count the number of threads I started probably with my two hands.

I also have a large number of replies and probably 10-15 posts.

Mark keeps saying that the new search engine is coming soon.

I've kept trying to find the magic key words for a search and also included and excluded items with some success.

This thread has gone about as far as it can.

There is a problem and until Mark can find the time to work it in among his other problems, we will have to learn to live with it.

Enjoy,

Jim
