Hello All,
I'm looking for a good plane to install a Honda GX25 from Carr Precision on. I'm planning to use the electronic ignition version, which weighs in at 3.9 lbs, or about a half pound heavier than a Zenoah G-26. Some ideas I've tossed around are a quarter scale SIG Spacewalker, the quarter scale Kangke Monocoupe ARF from Tower Hobbies, and maybe even the Midwest T-6. I am not looking for something to do a lot of aerobatics with, just something that will fly well and cruise around the flying field, and will not be too negatively affected by the extra weight of the Honda up front. Any ideas? Thanks!
Cheers,
Charlie

I am in the process of fitting a GX25 in a Dynaflyte Super Decathlon, - looks ok. so far, but I haven't flown it as yet. Seems to me that it is very suitable for this model.
I intend to fit it it horizontally, - I hope that it will be compatible with the lubrication system mounted this way ( I believe it will, - having an ingenious seperate tank and circulating oil mist system, as opposed to wet sump).
I may fit an upright tube to the oil filler, in case the screw plug comes off in flight and destroys the engine.
Good luck with your choice.

I have mine in a Bridi Big Bee. I searched for a model with light weight and lots of wing area. I ended up at 14.4 lbs with 1630 sq in. It's not very powerful, but flys fine with that light wing loading, the sound is just awesome. The idle is amazing, and it will fly over 45 min on 16 oz.
