Has anyone looked at the new Poulon Featherlite 26 Weedeater?
I just saw this trimmer at Sears. It appears to be a replacement for the Featherlite 25. Similar except that the rear of the engine is not covered by plastic, the weight has increased over the previous 7.8 lb, and the rear cover is a metal plate held by two screws instead of the previous 4 screws. This last may affect attaching an engine mounting plate.

RE: Has anyone looked at the new Poulon Featherlite 26 Weedeater?
I just recently converted a Weedeater 25 featherlite extreme. My intial readings with a MAS 16x8 were 6600 rpm. I have a wackerengines muffler with a stock carb. The carb venturi is measuring .315". I am planning to open it up slightly to see if I can get a bit more out of it. This is the 2 bolt back plate model with the bolt on muffler. So far it is running very well. Does anyone else have any other rpm readings for this muffler?
