Default Does it exist????

I am looking for a small even tiny alternator, it is part of a whacky idea that i have had and i wondered if they even exist because i have had no such luck at being able to find one on the internet.
If anyone has one or knows where i could get one from or for how much it would be much appreciated.

Cheers
M

I'm not exactly sure, but couldn't you use a brushless motor as an alternator...? They run on a three phase alternating current, and have permanent magnets, so I suppose it works the other way around too...

However, if it is for charging batteries during operation, I suggest you look into brushed engines, that will be easier to get working... less electronics involved.

Yep it does with electic start also, I have a bike shop and we also carry pocketbikes and they have a 52cc with electric start and the starter also acts as a alternator when running. It has a little rectifier that comes with it , we will be puting this one on a 110 in. trainer weighs about 4.5 lbs. without ignition
