Default Identify this engine!!

This engine came off of a string trimmer. The bore is 1.093 and the stroke is .981 which figures to 15cc. The casting on the jug/head at the bottom is ec-01 1 and on the side in two places, one is 59 the other is 4. Not sure what carb was on it due to taking apart about 40 that day. Thanks for your efforts.

P.S. This is going to be CH ignitioned and put on a 20% scale Cap 232 if at all possible.

Hi Pilot,
It looks more like a Zenoah product then anything else. 15cc makes for low power to weight ratio.

If you cut every ounce off possible..made it glow...mixed your own fuel...it may have some power. Just think of all the fuel you can buy for the price of that ignition!!! Glow fuel is not that expensive...if you mix your own. Good luck Capt,n

The number on the carb can be cross referenced to the original manufacturer..

Thanks Dave Wallace, Captinjohn, and RCIGN1 for your input. However power to weight ratio depends on the amount of thrust to weight ratio which has not yet been determined. Saving money is not the objective and besides you buy the ignition once not every time you fly and the #'s on the carb will not help in this situation because of the fact that I tore apart at least 40 engines that day and like a numb nut I didn't take down proper notes as to which one came off of that engine. However don't get me wrong I do appreciate the replies its just that I need to know what engine this is and not what will do me the best in the opinions of others for what I'm trying to accomplish. Thanks again guys!!

Hi Pilot,
This is a well traveled road. Most of the possible routes have been taken and the results well documented. Most of the comments by all, were intended to save you the pain of redoing our mistakes and unsucessfully efforts. We only wish you the best. Who knows maybe you will discover something that has evaded the rest of us and will be the next big thing.

Dave
