most of the mags made in the last year or so are digital and have microproccesors that give 4 different timing curves. one for easy starting, the other 3 advance as the engine revs up. only disadvantage to these is that damn rev limiter...

Hey there RCPILET,

I've got a brand new Zenoah GT 80 on a suhkoi by Hangar nine. It's a DOG. J/k it'll take the plane vertical but wont pull out of it. Kind of scary for a guy that likes to have throttle authority. I've never converted from magnet to CH, but your thread posted 8/14 seemed very knowledgeable. Would you mine contacting me, or providing me a number to call you so I can be walked through the process? I'm in the quandry of determining the costs involved. If it's more than 200 bucks, I'd rather just put this GT 80 up for sale and buy a ZDZ 80. Just looking for your expertise.

Thanks! Jesse 573-823-7020

Zenoah engines like higher rpms...try a 24-8 prop that will spin faster...And/or some aftermarket mufflers with less restriction....Or take the cowl and mufflers off to fly it that way...There IS a difference...
