Hi,
I am thinking about converting a small 21.2cc gas engine to glow. I see that you can buy or make a plug converter, but othe than that, does the cuurent Walbro type carb work without any mods? I understand it would have to be adjusted, but would the rubber inside not be attacked? This and any other information would be appreciated. Thanks, flyrc

Have you considered the GGL gas/glow mix?
From what I gathered, the rubber doesnt get abused from the 1/3 glow alcohol... there is just enough methalol to get the plug to catalyst up.... but the other guys have better info than me.

Thats a good point, what exaclty DO you mix for a former Gas engine to run right as a glow? I guess less oil, and some gasoline is still used?
