Poulan 331 Pro
That is what it says on the shroud.... and thats all it says. I don't seem to find this model listed anywhere to get specs.
Plastic shroud is yellow and it says - Poulan 331 Pro
Anyone know the size? I bet its 31cc
In the pic there is a homelite 25cc on the left for comparison.
Also, it came with good spark, good compression but no carb. What was the stock carb and since I need to get one, what venturi size works the best?
Thanks!!

RE: Poulan 331 Pro
Better is a good word! Thanks Dave
So how are these compared to say a homelite 30cc?
I understand the Homie is way better than a Ryobi.....
Edit
I just ordered 3 new wt-391 Walbro carbs
One for the Poulan, one for a homie 25 and one for a 30
They are 11.11's so Im hoping they work out ok. The price was right at least!!

RE: Poulan 331 Pro
Are we sure this is a 32? In this post, the alleged 32 is a side carb.

Mine is a rear carb that attaches to the back plate

RE: Poulan 331 Pro
I have found 2 references to this motor and it looks like its a 31cc for sure
http://www.billssmallengines.com/Ven...n_trimmers.htm
How do these compare to the Ryobi 31's power wise?
I'm guessing my time is better spent on a homie 30cc.......

RE: Poulan 331 Pro
I have one of these doing duty as a string trimmer.
I had a Homelite before this one and this has so much more power.
I have ofter thought about converting it.
There are guys out ther who will port these and really bring them to life.
Scott charges $65.00 to do a 25cc Toro the cost should be about the same for this.

I think this engine has lots of promise.
