Are poulan 46cc motors still the way to go?
I have read much over the period of time I have been on RCU about this motor, I will have a chance to pickup some rebuilt ones reasonable..

Is it still a good motor to work with? I would probably be leaving the magneto/filywheel on as I am not building overpowered planes ...I have one of these saws for cutting wood and could use the spare parts down the line. I was just curious if people had found something comparable in price and better to work with... Thanks for any help I know you guys are always finding new goodies out there...

Brillelli Engines has a neat new flywheel, prop hub combo for the 46 and carb adapters also.

That flywheel prop hub is nice, will be getting one of those for sure.. I didn't see the carb adapter on the site though so I sent them an email asking about it. Thanks for the link.
