does anyone know what size the threads on the clutch side of a poulan 46 are?? i need to tap an adapter but i dont want to guess 50 times on what size it is.... any help would be great...

P.S i know its left-handed...

commander,
Get a simple metric thread gage for a buck and be sure. Chain saws usually have lefthand threads on the clutch shaft, so it won't unscrew during kickback etc.
