Default Prop Hub Size

For battery ignition is there a set dia. for the hub that holds the magnet ? Mine is approx. 1" and was wondering if this is going to pose a problem, thanks for any input out there. Gryohead

If you are using one of the capacitor discharge units like CH Ignitions, it's not a problem for any diameter one is likely to use. If you are using the Kettering style spark ignition, it has to have enough magnets, and therefore prop hub radius to provide for the proper dwell.

Any of the commercially available units should be fine with a 1" diameter hub and a single magnet.
