Default Real diesel engine to R/C car use

How could one convert [link=http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=008&sspagename=STRK%3AME WA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=180096806930&rd=1]this[/link] engine to R/C car use? How big is the engine on the Firehammer? Will Firehammer parts work on this engine? Thanks.

I found engine sizes for the Firehammer, but still haven't found if the Firehammer clutch set-up will work.

the firehammer has a 23cc engine that goes into the 7000rpm range most likely, that diesel is 10 times the displacement and nearly 20 times the weight, to run that you need something the size of a small gokart as using something the size of a firehammer it would be top heavy...

not trying to discourage you, I'm all for it, it's just going to take more than bolting to the firehammer or any other 1/4-1/5 scale cars, and the gearing is going to be important while working with half the rpm range of a 2 stroke engine (1/10th of what is on 1/10th scale cars)

What I'm figuring is a large (about 6th scale) rig. I've thought about this project often, and threw the idea out do to price. Well, this time I was thinking "Is it even possiblr to run one of these on an R/C?" So, now, I'm just looking for another reason to pitch the idea, really.

When you are doing a custom project expect to make much of it yourself. The engine itself can be throttled by a servo without any real thought. The clutch, well you'd probably be looking at kart parts or similar.

When you have the time, equipment, and knowhow anything can be built.
