i ordered a CHXL igntion but i have one question about the 'synchro-spark' in them.
if i set the hal sensor @ 28 BTDC what will the maximum retard be???
from what i have gathered the first time it fires will be at 28 BTDC and when the engine runs it will slow down to 2 BTDC.
is that correct???

If you turn the numbers around it should be correct.

The CHXL has 24 degrees of timing movement. So if your set at 28 the the engine is at 4 deg BTDC at startup.

Not sure, but a CHXL is the aout the same unit, if not the same as a RCEXCEL. Most likely the same advance. Capt,n
