Has anyone converted them? How do they run? Do you have to cut the crankcase out of the saw, or does it unbolt?

Sounds interesting.

Not sure exactly.. I didn't buy one..


Looks like a small crank case mounted in a carrier.. easy to take out..
Front and rear crank outputs.. Could be a Homelite motor.

Amazon has reconditioned ones for $99 with free shipping.

some of the new ryobi weedeaters and blowers are homelite 25's from the look of them, so homelite sounds like a possibility
