Hi
Does anyone know the specs on a Walbro WT463 carb? Venturi size, where the pump inlet is (ie. manifold or crankcase) etc. Will they run on a Homelite 25cc and 30cc? I have been offered a new one for $7!

That carb is no longer available from Walbro. The venturi is 13.49mm and the intake should have a cast number of 34 which means the intake is 34/64ths of an inch in diameter. Seems a little large for your engine. For the many 44 and 50cc engines I have done I used a WT-201 which has a 13.4mm venturi. I would be looking for a carb in the 10 to 12mm size. On engines that size I have done I have used 11.11 mm carbs with great success.
Just looked at my 61cc Echo twin and I used the WT-201 on it as well.

Thank you!
These carbs are NOS but without box and the WT391 is only $6! For that price I think it's worth taking a chance. What do you think? He has 147 of them in stock so if anyone wants one?

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE! I don't mind giving out links for cheap stuff I find to help people who can't afford it or to save everyone a bit of cash but if I send you the link for the cheap carbs please don't buy to re sell on ebay for profit. I have seen allot of people doing that and it's ruining ebay! That Homelite blower I bought from Homelite for $49.99 for example I have seen at least five different Ebayers buying these things from Homelite and re selling them for $80+ It's not nice and everyone just ends up out of pocket. I know people have to make a living but not at the cost of everyone else.
OK rant over!
If anyone else wants cheap carbs let me know and I'll send you the link.

Rich & Tim,
Rich, please send me the Link! Tim, I have a WT-324 that I cannot get to run on my Homelite 25. Part of the problem is the twister carb adapter has a smaller opening than the rear of the carb. It allows air in due to the design. Is there a Walbro carb that has the 11.1 mm venturi, but has a smaller opening at the rear (throttle bore)? The WT 324 has a 16 mm opening.

Any manifold I make has the bore matched to the bore of the carb and gasket being used. I am not familiar with a twister manifold but understand what it does for the throttle linkage. Can you bore the manifold to match the carb?
Thanks for the link and I do understand the buying to sell agenda. I sold someone here two new short blocks for what I paid for them and he relisted them on eBay for a tidy profit. I did send him a nasty gram and he won't do it again via me.

Hi Andernamen
I think it would be easier to try another carb! If it doesn't work you could always put it back on ebay and sell it for a profit! lol!
No really, joking aside, I haven't seen these manifolds but I was thinking of ordering one for my engine so let me know how it fits on the WT391.
Thanks

That guy on e-bay is kind of high with his shipping. That's one thing you always have to watch out for on e-bay; guys making a profit on high shipping "charges".
But even so, this one is a good deal. I got 13 carbs coming for $64.00. Five bucks a carb is fine with me!!

Yeh I know! but for $12 all in I couldn't complain! Hey leave some for me!
On the shipping note, yeh tell me about it! A couple of months ago I bought a clock mechanism for a grandfather clock from Texas, it weighed with the box about 10lb and the guy charged me $10 postage! Yet I saw a pocket watch for sale less then 100 miles from here and the woman wanted $12!!!!! For a pocket watch! I just love it when they charge $10 for postage and the post office note on the box says $5! lol!

That's the very first thing I check when something interests me on e-bay; how much the shipping is going to be. I've seen items sell for $15.00, but then have $50.00 shipping!!
I sold a few things on e-bay a while back, and I put in large bold letters, "Actual shipping costs only." For the most part I stay away from e-bay though, as that "sniping" thing really aggravates me. I wish they could figure a way to prevent that...
