Default Tuning Two Motors To Run The Same

well here is the situation i have drawn plans for a swamp boat that will be powered by 2- 32cc modified motors.

does anyone know a way to tune two motors to run the same performance, or is it going to matter aslong as they are close?

Default twins

If it is anything like a twin engine plane, than as long as they are both running you should be OK. Remember the closer the engines are to each other the better. Speaking from twin engine plane experience, don't try getting the engines to run the same rpm, just tune them individually. They should be close enough if they are the same engine and prop combination. If you try to get them at the same rpm you will run into trouble with one being lean and possibly flaming out.
My .02 cents.

You should tune the faster engine by making it richer, never try to speed up the slow engine. This after you have adjusted them individually and are trying to sync them.

Default hey twostroker

hey i am running the two close almost two close. as a matter of fact 4"- 6" space between the props. do you think i should put alittle more space between them. these are going on a custom built swamp boat.

The closer the better! If the engines are as close as possible you will not notice the difference between them as much.

I once saw a twin (RC) where the two props actually overlapped, one slightly behind the other. It was a real pain to start without an electric starter.

Default I agree completely...

The secret to running two motors either on an airplane or a swamp boat is to tune each engine to it's best running speed. I bet they will be within 500 rpm of one another if done this way.
