hi all i just acquired one of these and would like to know if it would be worth while converting for aircraft use. dont know what kind of plane but i may make one for it.
also i finally got it running with just the fly wheel but when i go to advance the throttle it bogs down and dies could this be because i have no load on it or is it a tuning issue?
i think this is a homelight engine it has the carb and muffler on the sides. i will need to cut off a lot of fat on this one

Yes it could be used on a high wing cub, aeronca, ect. The way its bogging down is more than likly a carb issue especially if its been sitting around for a while.Featherlite models are usally poulan engines or weedeater brand.
