I would say it can. Ralf Cunningham can do it I would say. He may have a 29cc Chung-yang also. Better than that...he has top notch Zenoahs also. Try this link http://www.rcignitions.com/forum/ Ralph has a phone number on his site. Best Regards Capt,n

I would go to duropower.com and buy the 29cc for $99.00,or the 26cc for $89.00.Ive already looked at them and i am going to buy either one or both and convert them.Probably at the end of this week. The ad also states single ring.I think the ones im talking about are 2 ring.Ther eeither the same motor if i remember right or there the Jen-fang or somthing like that and are better engines i believe.

I just came from the wesite.Theyve changed some things since i was on there a while ago.No 29,but they kept the 31 and 33 and 52,and 26.I dont remember the numbers being that low but maybe i forgot.I still will buy one and see what its like though.I will pick either the 31 or 33.

the reason i was looking at these Cunk-Yang is because look to make pretty good power, just wonder if any body had done one, and how much trouble it would be

Some reading I copied and pasted.....refers to the CY23RC engine as the "Fuelie". The CY23RC is the stock engine for the Baja 5b - HPI part # 15401.
Chung Yang CY23RC engine (32mm bore, 28mm stroke - 22.5cc) with Walbro WT-668 carb. 2.5 Horsepower. Similar design to the Zenoah G230RC - 4 transfer port 32mm cylinder, single ring piston, double sided finned flywheel, and HP exhaust canister. Ready to bolt-on. All parts are interchangeable with the Zenoah G230RC. Engine is available with or without inner clutch. Engine requires 91 octane (using the R+M/2 octane rating method) or higher fuel, mixed 25:1 with 2-cycle oil (5 ounces per gallon). Engine is available in complete form, or you can choose to purchase the engine without the carb assembly and airfilter if you already have these parts and don't need them.
Available in factory black finish or with chrome shroud, fancover, etc pre-installed.
For scooters: Top speed for this engine with a stock .625 size drive spindle is approx 26 mph. Larger spindles will be faster. Fits Sport, Liquimatic, Bigfoot, X-ped, Super X-ped, Super Bigfoot, Go-Quad, Super Go-Quad, GSR26R, and Homebuilders Kit. Also fits GSR25, GSR26R, GSR29R, Quad 25, and Quad 30 when used together with 54mm clutch assembly.
For R/C: Fits a wide variety of 1:5 and 1:6 R/C cars, planes, boats, and helicopters. Same mounting dimensions as Zenoah G230RC / G260RC.

Get the Zenoah....it is much better quality. Also all your goodies you may want to put on it later is easy to find. Capt.n P.S. and repair if you bend a crank in a crash

The Zenoah is the better all around engine.
The real question is which is the better buy.
If you fly around at 1/2 to 3/4 throttle it doesn't matter who makes more power.
This spin off motor is a good motor. It makes good power and replacement parts are cheap and easy to find.
They tune good and start easily.
You will probally fly it into the ground before you wear it out, or at least I seem to.
For most people I'd say save your money.

I agree...most people are on a tight buget now bcause of high gas prices. The spin off would do just fine.....if your carefull and do not abuse it! Capt,n
