Has anyone tried a conversion to aircraft use a 72 cc stihl chainsaw engine? It is a 042 pro. sporting a whopping 5.36 Hp! Vertical anyone?!! Comes with a walbro carb. Also what kind or size/ weight plane would this power? (I'm new to large scale, and the engine is free)
Thanks to all participants.

I converted a #039 64CC. Put C&H ignition on it. Had to make all the parts. Motor Mount, Carb mount, Muffler, Prop adapter and hall effect switch holder. Motor ran great with 22x10 Zinger Prop.
6,700 RPM. I used a Walbro Carb off of a junk Fuji BT-50. All the Fuji's are junk. Have R-14 Auto-Cad drawings if your intrested.
