Finished up the new Homelite 30cc. It has the newer cylinder with larger transfer ports, plus I did a bunch of hopping up. (Porting, etc.) But I kept the port timing fairly reasonable this time. It will be interesting to see how it runs. Won't have time now to test run; maybe in about a week.
It came out kind of nice looking I think.

Well, FLATHEAD is still around and busy. My wife celebrated her 50th anniversy, and insisted that I be a part of it. That's over, so now I am considering getting back to work. I have the "RYOBI" with the converted rod ready to go again, and a 30 cc POULAN with a Bowman ring to try out. Several other projects around the house and spring comming on. Will try and run the RYOBI tommorow and give a report. FLATHEAD

Just pictures of the new rod itself, and pictures of the process to make it too if you have them.
I was going to mill a rod out of aluminum, but I haven't gotten around to it because I don't have any reams anymore to finish size the bearing bores. I was just going to use stock bearings from the old rod.
