All this is really unnecssary. I wanted to remove the "bell housing" and see how it looks. Well I got it all mocked up, see below. If I get amitionus I will blast all the parts before I put it together with sealant. BTW this the the other 20cc Stihl I picked up.

Are you referring to the angle of the plate as mounted to the engine? Nothing a few washers between the plate and the engine won't take care of, or if you mount it inverted (cylinder down), you will have built in ''down thrust''.

Ooops... I kind of wondered about that, but couldn't be sure from the pic. Is there room to grind the intake adapter?? The mounting plate?
What I noticed, and thought you were talking about is that the upper and lower crankcase bolts appear to be on a different "plane". Whoops, sorry for the pun...
