Hello all,Marry chrismas
I installed the esky3100 motor and the Hobbywing 25amp esc along with a telbeHH gryo. This is the smoothest bird I have onwed so far,But do have a few ??? to ask
The blades dont start to spin untill 1/2 throttle is this normal?
With the HH gyro I have the three wires from the gyro pluggrd into channel 4 and tryed the single yellow wire plugged into shannel 5,but with it plugged in the hh gyro wouldnt hold the tail.So I unplugged the yellow wire and turned the gryo up as far as it will go,Now the tail will hold with a little drift.??????????
I did the programing of the esc with the programming card that you can buy for the hobbying esc.
Thanks All

Most people leave the gyro adjustment wire unplugged because the stock Esky transmitter has very conservative and non-adjustable settings for rate mode and heading hold. Have a look at your tail servo with the heli powered on. Is it slowly drifting in one direction? If so, you can try using your transmitter rudder trim to find a setting at which it doesn't drift. Normally this would be done using subtrims, but the stock transmitter doesn't have that option. As for the rotors not turning until you reach 1/2 throttle, check to see if you have enabled soft start in the ESC program (you want it to be enabled). I suspect that may be a possible cause to the delay in power up of the motor. HTH
