Default Slow Down Heli

This may sound like a stupid question but when I am hovering and then go nose in what is the right way to bring back to yourself and kind of stop and hover it. When my heli is nose in and coming at me I seem to have a problem slowing it down.

I think what you are saying is to bring the cyclic back or down on the right stick.
